34 Boulevard Saint Germain is a fragrance celebrating Diptyque’s 50th anniversary. 34 encapsulates the scent of its first boutique located on 34 Boulevard Saint Germain with rare and precious fragrances.

The result is a fragrance that has an innovative and complex signature, that is neither feminine nor masculine. This is a fragrance for men and women.

Packaging

Can we take a moment to admire this little but mighty perfume? The black heavy duty packaging is totally chic and looks like a number plate but in the shape of a typical Dyptique bottle giving those luxurious vibes. Number 34 is written in a font particularly used for writing modern number plates for address. The fragrance comes with a velvet pouch making it easy to carry without fear of catching any scratches while traveling or while rough handling in a makeup pouch.

About the Fragrance

This Fragrance Gesture is inspired by the enfleurage technique used in times past to capture the scent principle of flowers. Its alcohol-free wax is a scented balm that is applied with the fingertips, to reveal the unique signature of 34 Boulevard Saint Germain.

Top notes: Black Currant, Cardamom, Cassis, Cinnamon, Citrus Fruit, Clove, Green Notes, Pink Pepper

Middle notes: Geranium, Iris, Rose, Tuberose, Violet

Base notes: Eucalyptus, Resin, Woody Notes

Fragrance category: This fragrance belongs to Floral Woody Family. Perfect for any time of the year but I particularly like to layer it under my other woody fragrances during colder evenings.

I feel everyone should have some sort of solid fragrances in their collection. These are so handy to travel with and they can be layered under your regular fragrance from the same line. This usually helps with better performance of a fragrance. I like to layer this one under some other woody fragrances.
