If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you’d know that I recently started exploring Middle-Eastern fragrances. Not just high-end but inexpensive fragrance can be really good in terms of juice and performance. This post is all about another inexpensive fragrance that smells amazing and doesn’t compromise on performance. I tried one of Al Haramain fragrances last autumn and it impressed me so I wanted to try more from this brand. This time I picked Al Haramain Maze mainly because I have been enjoying Oriental fragrances lately. This unisex fragrance comes in Eau de Parfum concentration.
Packaging – The bottle is made of metal painted with gold and the design is similar to a maze with some clear windows where you can see the juice. Though I am not into flashy bottle designs with a few exceptions like Marc Jacobs Decadence (that handbag style bottle with a chain detail can be too much for some but the juice of MJ Decadence is also incredible).
Al Haramain Maze is a mysterious fragrance for both men and women. This Middle Eastern fragrance belongs to Oriental Floral category and the composition is complex with a huge list of ingredients.
Top note: Lemon, Bergamot, Wormwood, Rose, Geranium, Davana Blossoms, Orange
Middle note: Rose, Jasmine, Orange Blossom, Orchid, Clove, Saffron, Sandalwood, Cedarwood
Base note: Cedar wood, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Amber, Musk, Praline, Tonka bean, Floral, Cashmere wood, Fruity
Fragrance Category – Oriental Floral
About the Fragrance – In this labyrinth of emotions & feelings, struggles & endeavors, only a few will achieve what they set out for, and it is with these privileged few that Al Haramain Maze will be found. Finally, a perfume symbolic of the mystery of the Middle East! Every bit as enigmatic as the land that draws thousands into its fold every day, the aroma of Maze is as promising and exciting as the race for survival staged here.
This fragrance opens up citrusy and dries down to fruity rose with woody and metallic musky vibes. This is a balanced Unisex Fragrance that doesn’t lean towards masculine or feminine.
Performance – Performance-wise, it is a true beast. The projection is heavy and it lasts so well on both clothes and on skin. It is an elegant, mature all-year-around fragrance.
I like this fragrance on me and also on my husband. The best part – this is an inexpensive beast mode fragrance that is perfect for all round the year particularly cold weather.
*This fragrance was gifted to me by Notino. Opinions are my own and unbiased.
