Blank Canvas Cosmetics Brushes & Master Series Palette One Review

I recently got chance to try out some of the products from the Blank Canvas Cosmetics and I have tried these enough to finally share my thoughts on this space.

• Master Series Palette One – The Art of Perfection | £29.76

A perfect Matte Everyday Eyeshadow palette that ticks all the boxes is hard to find. Blank Canvas Cosmetics did it by creating An Art of Perfection- A Master palette called Master Series Palette One that is matte and has variety of browns, has warm undertones and blends like a dream.

As seen on my Instagram, I have not stopped wearing this palette since the day I got my hands on it. The palette has variety of neutral shades to create number of looks. From a soft day time look to a heavy smokey eye, you name it and this palette has got you covered! The texture of eyeshadow is most beautiful and I have stopped wearing my other eyeshadows because I have only been reaching for this bad boy. I was not much into browns but this is the ONLY palette which made me love browns so much. This says a lot! These eyeshadows are super pigmented and blend like a dream.

Price & Packaging: The palette retails for just under £30 and comes in cardboard packaging with a matching sleeve. There is a good quality mirror in the palette along with their bestselling vegan friendly E40/41 dual ended Tapered Crease Blender/Smudger brush worth over £10 which makes it easy to deposit eyeshadow on the lid and blend from the other side. The stiff flat shader end (E40) can be used dry/damp to apply eyeshadow. The fluffy dome side (E41) can be used to blend seamlessly. This also makes it superb for travelling. I can tell this palette is going with me everywhere.

Shades: The palette has the perfect balance of 11 velvety matte shades ranging from a gorgeous vanilla base colour and peachy tones to dramatic dark browns. It also contains 1 shimmery champagne highlighter shade. The palette is perfect for daytime natural to an ‘out-on-the-town’ smokey eye looks.

Lily: Vanilla shade (for browbone matte highlight or for base )

Goddess: Shimmery light gold/champagne shade

Core: Nude Bone shade

Hibiscus: A warm tone medium brown

Brazen: Peach tone brown

Carmin: Terracotta

Cocoa: Perfect cocoa shade

Downtown: Chocolate Brown

Forza: Caramel brown

Hickory: Dark Chocolate

Strut: Orange tone peach (Deep Peach)

Corruption: Almost Black

All shades translate so well on my medium skintone. The pigmentation and formulation is fabulous. The eyeshadows stay all day long (even without eyeshadow primers) which is so important. These blend beautifully without effort.

I love the fact that the shade names are printed on the palette itself and also at the back of the palette. I often lose the plastic sheet (on which names of shades are written) that some palettes from other brands come with.

This palette is Gluten free,  Vegan Friendly, Fragrance Free and Paraben Free and not tested on animals.

Rating: 4.5/5 Highly Recommend as this is the Only eyeshadow palette you’ll need!

Brushes & Brush case

Blank Canvas Cosmetics Brushes are Europe’s Top Rated cosmetic brushes. Along with the E40/41 brush that came in the Master Palette One, I got chance to try out some other brushes from the brand. All their brushes are handmade from extra soft, high quality anti-bacterial, easy to clean synthetic fibres.

• F01 Quick Brush | £13.60

This short handled multi purpose face brush comes with hot pink and gold detail. This can be used for foundation/bronzer/face powder brush and is crafted to use with wet or dry products. The brush is ideal for foundation application, apply first with a foundation application and use the F01 brush to buff the product into your skin for a perfect finish. I like to buff my foundation first and then blend in a stipple motion. This method gives my foundation a beautiful finish and my skin looks flawless.

This handy brush is fantastic for bronzer/powder/mineral makeup application. This is perfect for travelling and I highly recommend this multi purpose brush.

• F06 Bevelled Foundation/Contour Brush | £12.75

This is also a multi purpose brush loped foundation/face brush and comes in variety of colours. I got the gold handle one and it is absolutely stunning as well as luxurious. This brush is ideal for foundation/concealer/blush/contour application.

Its soft bevelled shape is ideal for working along the contours of the face. Use with cream/powder/gel products. Buff products on first and blend in a stipple motion. The slope of the brush can be used to contour. I have used this brush with both foundation and contouring products and it works perfectly.

• F19 Tapered Concealer/ Contour Pencil Brush | £6.80

This dimension series brush has Rose Gold detail with black handle. This is a tapered brush shaped for concealing and sculpting. This brush is ideal for applying concealer/highlight/contour products.

This brush can be used with cream/powder products. I like to use mostly for concealer and even for contouring my nose.

• F36 Round Cheek Brush | £12.75

This dimension series rose gold brush with black handle is ideal for applying blush or foundation. This brush can be used with cream/powder products to apply foundation/cheek or contour products. I prefer this brush for Blush application.

The best way to use is to buff products on first and then blend.

• E03 Lip liner/ Tear duct highlighter brush | £5.95

This is the last one I currently have from Dimension series. The brush comes with Rose Gold detail and black handle. This detailer brush is ideal for applying and blending lip products such as gloss, lipstick, lipliner. This is also great for applying highlighter to the inner tear duct or small detail work around the eyes.

I love to use this for applying highlighter to inner tear duct or even on cupid bow.

• BC Standee Compact Upright Standing Pouch | £17

This faux leather pouch has embossed suede detail in centre. This comes in hot pink and black. I have the black version and I absolutely adore it. This luxurious pouch can hold approximately 10-20 brushes (depending on size and shape).

It’s also really handy for storing beauty arsenal. With its compact shape, it’s perfect for travelling or standing on a dresser. It can be easily cleaned using clean damp cloth avoiding suede detail.
