When it comes to blushers, I definitely have a soft spot! Blushes do lift up the whole makeup look and give a beautiful flush to the cheeks if used correctly. I do believe that less is more or you can end up looking like a clown. Blushes hold largest space in my makeup collection and as much as I do try to use my makeup products on rotation, some products do get used more often than expected. Here are some of my current faves from drugstore to high-end and I do believe there’s something for everyone in this post.
This blusher formulated with powerful antioxidants including Vitamin E and Jojoba to give you a blush that will leave your skin feeling satin soft with a pop of colour. This is ideal for all skin types and looks great for medium to dark skin. Liquid and cream formulas are ideal for mature skin. Glamour is a richly toned terracotta/peach shade without shimmer, designed to enhance and flatter most skin tones.
- Sleek Blush – Flushed | £4.99
Sleek Makeup is one of my top favourite brands from drugstore mainly because their products are so comparable to high-end but at fraction of price. Sleek blushes are highly pigmented, have silky-fine texture that blends effortlessly on skin and stays on for a long time. Flushed is a dark brick red shade that looks STUNNING on medium snd deep skin tones but also looks great on lighter skin.
This is a gorgeous baked blusher with beautiful marble finish. This is a luminuous peachy coral blush with golden undertones that looks amazing on all skintones. This powder can be used as blusher and highlighter in one and gives a beautiful blushing glow ‘a lit from within look’. This award winning blush is also firm favourite of Beauty Guru Caroline Hirons. You can get Free Delivery in the UK with code MST-FREE if you buy one of the makeup kits.
Sigma Beauty’s Aura powder is a versatile all-over face powder and versatile powder blush that enhances and brings forth dimension of the face and subtly draws out natural contours. The shade Cor-De-Rosa is an earthy and flushed shade that looks absolutely stunning on most skin tones. Now you can get 10% off your Sigma order with code MSTXSIGMA (Shop here).
- Makeup Geek blush – Infatuation | £7.95
Makeup Geek blushes deliver high pigmentation, blend effortlessly and have great longevity. These come in variety of shades and I have got few pans as they are easily stored in custom palettes along with eyeshadows. If you are not into travel custom palettes, you can buy the blush with proper compact packaging here.
The shade Infatuation is a deep peach with pale chocolate undertones. This looks so flattering on medium to dark skin tones. The finish is matte which means it looks amazing even if you have some imperfections on your skin.
- Milani Rose Blush – Tea Rose* | £12
Milani Rose blushes are so pretty in the pan but also look amazing on the cheeks. Tea Rose is a light dusty rose in matte finish that is a perfect choice for pale, light and medium skin tones. I like it for mainly soft day time looks or for everyday look. This shade can look slightly chalky on darker skin so I recommend checking shade Coral Cove if you have darker skin. I like that you get good size pan for the price. These also look stunning sitting on vanity :).
Milani baked blush is a pigment packed powder blush which delivers a sheen of healthy luminosity. It gives a sheer wash of soft colour for a naturally flushed complexion. Luminoso is a peach toned pink with a slight pearlescent finish. The pigmentation is great and the blush stays on for many hours. Even if you do not have perfect skin, this blush will look pretty on you and will not emphasize any imperfections. Luminoso is bestselling shade (also dupe for Nars Orgasm blush) that looks pretty on most skintones.
This unique stripe blush from Marc Jacobs has two glowing shades in complimentary colours and delivers fool-proof radiance along with ‘dance-floor flush’ to the cheeks. The stripe pattern on Air blush is from Marc Jacobs dress. The longevity is really high and pigmentation is impressive too. I love that this high quality designer blush is not that expensive too.
This compact duo in shades Lover & Hussy are beautiful peachy apricot and candy pink shades respectively. These shades are very versatile for any time of the year and suits most skin tones (particularly fair and medium). You can even mix both shades together and apply as a new shade on your cheeks 🙂. The mix of two shades gives a shade which looks quite like natural flush on the cheeks. These blushes are very pigmented and easy to blend. Staying power is about 6 hours before it fades without being patchy. I love these and this duo is one of the oldest in my blush collection.
Pixi + Aspynovard Glow-y Powder is a collaboration with Aspyn Ovard – an International Beauty & Lifestyle Guru on Youtube. This mineral-based powder contains subtle light reflecting pigments to brighten and highlight, easily blended and universally flattering for all skin tones. This can be used as a pink tone highlighter or as a blush topper. If you prefer a soft blush with slight sheen, this can be a perfect choice for blush & highlight in one. This blush will also be perfect to amp up your skin a bit when its dull during colder months.
- Nip&Fab Blusher Palette – 01 Blushed* | £8.95
This is one of the best blush palettes I have in my collection. All four shades in this quad are so wearable for all skin tones. This quad has delicate pinks, soft corals and warm plum hues to add a pop of colour to the cheeks for any occasion.
Flamingo: candy pink shade
Cocktail: Soft Coral shade
Whisper: Deep Coral with terracotta undertones
Velvet: Soft plum shade
The pigmentation is amazing and the finish oh my gawwwd is a beautiful suede matte that looks and feels amazing on skin. These are very high quality blushes and I have been reaching for them almost every single day. I highly recommend this blusher palette as the pan sizes are quite big for the price you pay.
These were my current faves for blushers and I have been reaching for these for past few months. Do you like anything from my current picks? Which blushers are you liking these days? Let me know in the comments below?
Until next time

4 October 2017 at 1:37 PMAll of these blushes are gorgeous! I have a soft spot for them as well. I actually have not heard of a couple of these brands. I’m dying to try Daniel Sandler now! Also, the CID Cosmetics I-Glow. The Milani rose blush all looks nice. I’ve heard so many good things about Milani but I have yet to try. I currently own so many blushes, I’m trying to finish some off before I buy anymore. Thanks for sharing Ash!
