Summer is soon approaching and most of you must have planned holidays to beach or city breaks. I am travelling to Spain next month so I’m all prepared to have fun at beach but keeping myself and my family safe from sun with good SPF.
I have been testing Ultrasun* SPF range for quite some time now and I am ready to pen down my thoughts to help you decide which one to choose for your needs.
About the brand
Ultrasun is a Swiss brand that has been focussing on Sun Protection and has launched many innovations for over 20 years. Ultrasun is already famed for its photostable, once-a-day application sun protection range. Ultrasun’s patented liposome technology ensures just one application a day will give long lasting, high level, water resistant protection from UVA (ageing), UVB (burning) and infrared A rays. Their products are housed in airless pumps to prevent product deterioration and contamination giving a superior shelf life of 2 years after opening.
- Ultrasun Face Anti-Ageing & Anti-pigmentation sun protection for Ultra-Sensitive skin | £32 for 50ml
This sunscreen is an advanced combination of broad-spectrum protection with SPF50+ plus powerful antioxidants and remarkable anti-pigmentation ingredients. This restores optimal moisture levels, reduces the appearance of wrinkles and pigmentation. This is lightweight, absorbs really fast and is non-greasy on skin. I can’t really talk much about anti-ageing & anti-pigmentation properties much yet as that requires regular use for several months but this feels really nice on skin. The moisture level is definitely restored and works well under makeup. This is water-resistent and is ideal for very sensitive skin.
- Ultrasun Extreme Sensitive SPF 50+ sun lotion | £22 for 100ml
This is a Godsend I tell you. This sun screen lotion is fast-absorbing, non-greasy, non sticky UVA and UVB (SPF50+) sun protection with SOD (a free radical scavenger), vitamin E and pro vitamin B5 – ideal for extreme sun conditions and extremely sensitive skin. This sunscreen lotion is water resistant so definitely ideal for beach or swimming.
This multi-purpose product delivers high, all day protection with just one application. Anti-ageing, protecting ingredients include Ectoin (active DNA and cell protection), a natural substance proven to prevent UVA-induced premature photo ageing and Superoxide Dismutase, an enzyme that effectively neutralises skin damaging free radical activity stimulated by exposure to the sun.
This sunscreen doesn’t feel heavy or sticky on skin and is good for sensitive skin. This absobs quickly and doesn’t leave any residue. This keeps skin hydrated and is also perfect as a primer under makeup.
This one particularly is perfect for all the family including little ones. The Ultrasun Family 30 delivers high, all day protection (UVA and UVB SPF30) with just one application.
This is slightly thick if applied under makeup but should not bother much. This is also water resistant so I highly recommend this. My family loves this and when I apply this to my little one, I am sure he will be protected from harsh rays. This one along with the travel size ones are going with me next month to Spain.
Have you tried anything from UltraSun? What are your recommendations?
