Gift Ideas for Father’s Day

June is a month of gifting at my house. It’s our wedding anniversary month and this year we’re completing 10 years as a married couple! Not only this, but it’s also my husband’s birthday the next day so every year we have double celebrations! Father’s Day is also one of the important days in June and my child loves making a card and shopping for his Dad. From his handprints to thoughtful drawings and cards, every year my child surprizes his Dad with something emotional.

Shopping for men is not easy but I tried picking up some lovely gift options for Dads:

Fragrances

Atelier Cologne is one of my all-time fave brands in this category! The brand does amazing colognes and cologne absolue options for both men and women. Two fragrances that I recommend particularly for Father’s Day are Orange Sanguine and Santal Carmin.

Atelier Cologne’s Orange Sanguine Cologne Absolue is a zesty and energising burst of crushed ripe fruit, plays off sweet blood orange juice against bitter orange peel and sensual notes of geranium. This is the most uplifting fragrance for summer.

Atelier Cologne Santal Carmin Cologne Absolue, on the other hand, is woody, rich and deep. This fragrance consists of Sandal wood from New Caledonia, Bergamot from Italy and Gaiac wood from India. It is both soft yet smoky, cosy yet addictive. Santal Carmin is a powerful spicy woody scent which is ideal for a special occasion. Kierin NYC Santal Sky is an amazing, thoughtful scent with a touch of irreverence. Woody, intimate and serene fragrance and bound with earthy vibrancy, it refreshes the soul and embodies a calm heart in the fast beat of city streets. This is a spicy woody fragrance with Cardamon, Saffron, Sandalwood and Vetiver as key ingredients.

Notebook Fragrances are a budget fragrance gift option if you want your gift to look chic yet not heavy on your pocket. White Wood & Vetiver Eau de Toilette for Him is a lovely bright spicy green fragrance for men. The top notes open on the explosion of a fresh and natural citrus accord. The heart is green and spicy and gives a touch of the nature. This fragrance has a base of white woods and vetiver.

Chocolates

If your Dad has a sweet tooth, chocolates make a wonderful gift option! Raphia Flavours of Morocco is a fab chocolatier company. I have tested their exquisite chocolates in the past and absolutely loved it! This year on Father’s Day, the brand has special edition black and white box designed especially for men. The chocolates have interesting packaging with types of Dads written over each chocolate.

Another option is the chocolate bars with a special message on each one. There is also another cigar-shaped thick cylindrical tube chocolates which can be included as a gift. A Chocolate hamper with a handwritten card would be a lovely idea!

Toiletries Bag

A high quality toiletries bag is another option you may try as a gift this Fathers Day. Morris & Co. A Fancy Shirt or a Tie

There was a time when I used to buy a fancy shirt for my husband for special occasions. We have reached a saturation point in that category now but if you’re looking to purchase Formal Shirts or Ties for Dad, Burberry, Tom Ford, Ralph Lauren, Ermenegildo Zegna and Battistoni will be lovely additions to your Dad’s wardrobe.

Wallet or Card Holder

Wallet or Card Holders are another safe gift option because these are essentials and all men need one. Ted Baker’s bifold wallet is crafted in leather with plenty of card slots and space for notes. The compact design is completed with a branded metallic ‘T’ that looks stylish and edgy.

Watch Case

If your Dad is a watch collector, buying a case for keeping his lovely precious watches should be considered. Other than the above, you may choose a gift from his hobby like photography, music, or like something he has been eyeing on for a while and that you know will bring joy to him. My husband loves woodworking for his DIY projects. He would absolutely love it if I give him a gift card of his fave tool shop. I would have purchased a machine or a tool myself but I think he would have a better eye in this category so a gift card would be a good idea!
