Gucci Bloom Ambrosia di Fiori For Her

I have been a fan of the Gucci Bloom range and my love story started with the original Bloom Fragrance that was launched by Gucci a few years ago. Ambrosia di Fiori is a new edition to the ever so popular Bloom range and is created by the master perfumer Alberto Morillas. The story of Ambrosia di Fiori is written by Alessandro Michele. The fragrance was launched in 2019.

Ambrosia was considered the drink of Ancient Greek Gods that imparts immortality. This fragrance takes us to the bouquet of that era.

Gucci Bloom is one of my favourites in women’s perfumes. I love how beautifully Gucci has done white florals in the Bloom Range. Ambrosia di Fiori is a little bit different because it has Orris root and Rose along with white florals. The DNA of Ambrosia di Fiori is identifiable as Gucci Bloom but with a powdery twist of Orris and Rose. Rose tames the tuberose in this one and mellows down the white florals.

Projection and Longevity: Gucci perfumes normally have great performance and Ambrosia di Fiori is no exception. The sillage is strong and leaves a floral trail. The fragrance stays beautifully on the skin for over 5 hours and over a day or so on clothes. I do like to spritz my fragrances on my clothes as well.

This fragrance comes in a 50 ml and 100 ml size. This is priciest from the collection but totally worth it. I bought the gift set version because I like collecting Designer boxes as well. The best part to get it as a gift set is that you get a roll-on along with the full-size bottle. The roll-on is perfect to keep it in your purse.

Final thoughts: Ambrosia di Fiori smells extremely similar to the original Gucci Bloom in the opening but the dry down after an hour or so has a powdery twist of orris and rose. Rose lends a velvety component to the fragrance. It is rich and interesting for a mainstream white floral fragrance. The fragrance is creamy and smells very elegant. Performance is impressive and if you love white floral fragrances, you will enjoy this one.
