I have been a mask addict and putting a face mask brings an absolute joy to me. Its a fabulous way to pamper my skin and unless I apply a mask every week (sometimes twice a week), I do not feel like I am doing much to my skin. I have combination to dry and dehydrated skin with large pores. I am sharing my top 5 luxury face masks that work absolute treat for my skin.
- Verso Deep Hydration Mask* | £65 for pack of 4
I was expecting this as a regular sheet mask but oh my gaaawd, this is a two piece hydrogel mask that you can adjust as per your shape face. This mask is intensively nourishing treatment and locks in moisture and retains hydration level for upto 120 hours i.e. 5 days.
This is a S.O.S. treatment for parched complexions that attracts and retains precious moisture to replenish cells’ reservoirs and in turn, ‘plump’ skin from within. This mask leaves my dry, dehydrated skin feeling soft and dewy with a youthful freshness and plumpness. This is what I want – a quick fix!!
p.s. As it is a hydro-gel mask, it can slide/move slightly on your face so I recommend relax and enjoy your pamper instead of clicking photos like me. It kept sliding as you can see on one of my brows, haha :).
This ten minute mask treatment works to exfoliate, refine and revive radiance and provides a smoother and brighter complexion. It tingles a bit when you apply it but it settles. It has some solid bits including fruits and leaves extracts. This mask utilises French Sea Clay to gently eliminate dead, dull and uneven skin. Volcanic Pumice Rock in the mask expertly dissolves pore-clogging impurities for a refined, revitalised complexion. Its antioxidant-rich formula protects and restores skin to reveal a luminous, photo-ready finish.
You just need to put a thin layer of this mask on clean skin and once its dry, you can massage this gently with the help of some water to exfoliate all dead skin. Wash it off and you’ll enjoy clean, glowing skin. Its like a facial in a jar! My skin does look slightly red around large pores just after washing but it quickly settles after moisturizing. This mask is famous among beauty enthusiasts and celebrities.
- Caudalie Instant Detox Mask | £22 for 75ml
This mask has been my firm favourite detox mask for over a year now. This is a pink clay mask that cleans my pores without making my skin feel dry. Its beautiful formula works in depth by removing impurities, perfecting the skin, minimising pore size while leaving the skin baby soft after each use.
This mask gently eliminates dulling dead skin cells to refine skin texture and create a smoother, light-reflective surface so you look instantly more luminous. This mask draws out impurities to alleviate congestion and reduce the probability of blemishes or breakouts, while pink clay and coffee purge pores of blackhead-causing dirt and excess oil. Papaya enzymes brighten the skin making this an ideal, fast-acting treatment ahead of a special occasion, or to purify skin at the end of a stressful week.
I can go on and on about this mask as its my top clay mask. It helps me clear my pores, removes any congestion, soothes my skin from any fresh breakouts and calms down to give a clear complexion. Every time I put this mask on, I can see it drawing impurities and excess oil from my pores and that’s the satisfaction.
- Oskia Renaissance Mask | £49.50 for 50ml
This mask is a total luxury and I have couple of travel size versions from Latest in Beauty bags. This can transform dull, lifeless skin into smooth , radiant and soft to touch.
The natural fruit acids in this mask work to exfoliate skin yet do not strip away natural moisture. The light scent of rose, passion fruit and chamomile brings the spa experience home, resulting in skin that is supple with a more youthful look.
This mask is massaged gently into clean, dry skin. The light pink mask turns white, you need to allow it to rest on your face for a few minutes or longer and then rinse with warm water.
This product is certified organic.
- Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask | £25 for 100ml
This is one of the best selling masks from Origins. This intensive replenishing mask has one of the best nourishing ingredients like Avocado Oil, plant glycerin, hyaluronic acid and Apricot Kernel Oil that deeply and instantly quenches compromised moisture reserves. Avocado oil and mango butters build up a reservoir for next day and Japanese seaweed helps prevent future moisture loss.
This mask works overnight to repair skin’s damage and restore hydration levels. My skin looks plumped and well hydrated next morning.
Do you like any of the masks shared here? Which one do you intend to try from my picks?
Until next time..
