Dry sensitive skin by its nature is hypersensitive and therefore requires special care. If you have extremely dry and uncomfortable skin, it is best to talk to a Dermatologist and see if you have Eczema. Whatever skin type you may have, gentle and effective skincare routine can help tackle most problems. Hydration is the key for any skincare routine. Dry, Dehydrated and sensitive skin may require an extra dose of hydration and sometimes specially formulated products that cater to this specific skin type. Here in this article, I am sharing my top favourite moisturisers that work wonders for dehydrated and sensitive skin.

This anti-ageing treatment gets absorbed into the skin quickly and ensures complexion is comfortable and radiant. Dry skin is instantly eliminated and the complexion appears smooth, supple and rejuvenated.
Algenist Absolute Hydration Replenishing Sleeping Pack – Though we are talking about moisturisers here, consider this as an intensive moisturiser that works as an overnight treatment mask for parched skin. Dehydrated skin feels hydrated, replenished and refreshed. This sleeping pack restores lost moisture withing 10 days of use and boosts moisture retention for healthy glow.
Ren EverCalm Overnight Recovery Balm – This cream targets sensitivity, dryness and inflammation, while boosting and safeguarding your skin’s natural regeneration. It’s unique balm-to-oil texture replenishes the skin’s barrier and deeply moisturises, with a fast-absorbing pillow-friendly formula that’s never oily, greasy or heavy. The texture of this balm is like a solid oil but non-sticky and fast – absorbing. This is an absolute treat to sensitive skin.
Argentum Apothecary la potion infinie – A restorative anti-ageing cream that works to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, blemishes and oxidative stress on the skin. This moisturiser instantly hydrates the skin, delivering a pleasant tightening effect whilst stimulating circulation for re-energised, radiant skin. Aveeno cream – My dermatologist prescribed me this cream when dry patches started developing on my face during first trimester of pregnancy. This cream however, is available without prescription too. This is formulated with Colloidal Oatmeal to actively moisturise dry and sensitive skin. Regular use helps prevent dryness and irritation caused by skin dehydration. This is also suitable for anyone with Eczema.

Clinique Moisture Surge – This lightweight cream-gel moisturiser works to plump skin and intensely hydrate for twenty-four hours. Its deeply moisturising formula targets fine lines, tightness and dry patches to comfort, nourish and replenish. Skin feels healthy, revived and happy.
Cerave Moisturizing Cream – Ceramides work so well for dry and sensitive skin and this Moisturising Cream from Cerave has 3 essential ceramides and hyaluronic acid. It is a fragrance-free formula and moisturises as well as helps restore the protective skin barrier of face and body. Its a family favourite here and I use it on my son’s face and body too. I have been using it since last year and already on 2nd tub. This cream is great for Eczema skin too and I can’t tell you how much it helped my son throughout the winters. He doesn’t have eczema but dry skin condition runs in the family so I need to take extra care of his skin.

16 March 2019 at 2:04 PMThis post could not have come at a better time. I’ve been having an issue with the skin on my chin. It’s either just dry or I have perioral dermatitis. That REN overnight balm sounds like it would do wonders.
