I have been using Rodial products since 2 years now and I would admit my first purchase was impulsive when the niche brand had a sale online. I had been seeing their products continuously on so many Beauty Gurus’ social media accounts so the urge to try something from the brand got me hooked gradually.
About the brand: Maria Hatzistefanis founded Rodial in 1999 after seeing a gap in the market for high performance skincare offering targeted, results-driven treatments. The brand has an extensive celebrity following and global reach with presence in 35 countries worldwide. After years of working with celebrity makeup artists and picking up the best backstage tips, Maria took Rodial to the next level and created the ultimate sculpting makeup collection to enhance natural beauty for a flawless, professional-looking finish.
- Stem Cell Cleanser | £38 for 200ml (currently on Offer)
Dry & Dehydrated skin peeps would love this cleanser. This is a nourishing dual-action cream facial cleanser and mask for dehydrated skin with advanced stem cell technology, rose hip and vitamin e. This cleanser is a super food of anti-oxidants, Coconut Oil, Rose Hip Oil, Rose Wax and Coco Butter that gently cleanses and feeds essential nutrients to the skin for instant relief to dehydrated complexions. I bought mine via subscription box and made sure I choose this cleanser as one of the products every month via the beauty subscription so I can stock up on this one. This is my absolute favourite cleanser!
If you want a multi purpose toner that can hydrate and revive your skin, prep it for makeup or can set your makeup, this toner is for you! This can be used to give an instant energy boost to the skin, as a soothing in-flight hydration treatment or to set make-up. Rose water and dragon’s blood soothe sensitive skin whilst protecting against external aggressors. Vitamin B3 and zinc in this toner instantly brighten for a refreshed and even complexion. Skin is deeply hydrated, firmer and pores appear more refined. I sometimes use this in ‘DIY-mask’ treatment too.
- Dragon’s blood sculpting gel* | £85
If you have stressed or sensitive skin or if your skin needs some anti-aging care, this can be a God-send serum/moisturizer for you! This revolutionary anti-aging gel volumises and defines facial contours by plumping sagging skin through stimulating the production of collagen to help skin appear firmer and more lifted. This gel contains unique dragon’s blood complex (dosage is less than sculpting serum from this range), sap from the Croton Lechleri tree, which forms a unique second skin-like film around the face which effectively protects, reduces redness and firms for a smoother, plumper, more youthful looking complexion. I’m in my early 30s right now and I am not very particular about anti-aging treatments. I believe in graceful ageing where my skin can still look at its best while I age (We’ll see how I get on with my thoughts later in life though). However, I love this gel entirely because my skin can be very sensitive and flushed sometimes around my cheeks and this helps reducing redness and protects it effectively. This is mainly for targeted application for the cheek bones to increase plumpness, reduce redness and firming the skin.
- Dragon’s Blood Velvet Cream* | £75
This is a rich, velvety cream perfect for skin in need of deep nourishment. This uniquely velvety textured cream offers multi-dimensional hydration, leaving skin feeling deeply hydrated and with a protected ‘cushioned’ feel. Though rich in moisture, this feels non-greasy on the skin and is the perfect cream that can be used day or night for treating dehydrated, sensitive and red skin. This cream is packed with vegetal squalene, hyaluronic acid and arnica for optimum hydration.
These innovative gel eye masks are great for providing intense hydration to the delicate eye area and provide an immediate de-puff and cooling effect to help the eyes look instantly brighter and more alert. This mask lifts, firms and smooths skin while reducing redness and inflammation. It also provides long lasting and deep hydration, while plumping the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. These masks can also be purchased as a box of 8.
I love masks that deep clean and detoxify my congestion prone skin. This bubble mask from Rodial was a love at first use. This mask generates O2 bubbles to remove dirt, dead skin cells and excess oil revealing a brighter-looking complexion. Purifying bamboo charcoal deeply cleanses and unclogs pores for fresher, smoother looking skin whilst a rich blend of collagen, ceramide, vitamins A & E and peptides leave it revitalized. My skin looks amazing every time I use this.
- Skin Tint+ SPF 20* | £45
On a day to day basis, I like to wear lighter coverage bases and tend to reach for mostly tinted moisturizers or bb/cc creams. This is a medium coverage tinted moisturizer with amino-peptides to brighten and enhance skin tone. The skin tint+ contains a unique blend of amino-peptides which target multiple signs of aging and comes with broad spectrum SPF20 protection. It feels very lightweight and comfortable on the skin and the coverage is buildable too. Shade St. Barts is a good match for my medium skin tone.
If you struggle with finding right shade of contour powder and some can be too warm for your skin while others too cool, the Instaglam deluxe contouring powder can make you really happy! This buildable and universally flattering contour powder to suit all skin tones allows for controlled definition from a natural enhancement to a stronger contoured finish. Whether you want killer cheekbones, slimmer nose or more defined jawline, this powder helps to create shadow where needed for a contoured look, sculpt facial features to the definition desired. This powder also comes in Dark shade.
- Suede Lips* | £22 (Post)
If you want something as light as feather on your lips, you should try Suede lips by Rodial! This is what I prefer on a fay to day basis – lightweight, quick and easy! These jumbo crayons have intense pigmentation and comfortable matte finish. These long lasting , non-drying formula is enriched with Vitamin E to allow it to glide effortlessly on to the lips. My favourite shades are Calabasas which is a soft terracotta pink and Big Apple which is a soft burgundy with plum tones.
- Smokey Eye Pen | £17
Who doesn’t love a smokey eye?! Eye pencils can be the easiest way to achieve a smokey eye look. However, you need to have right formula to make blending easy on the delicate eye socket and around waterline. Smokey Eye Pen from Rodial is a highly pigmented kohl eyeliner with gel definition that allows eyeliner glide effortlessly and makes blending easier without compromising on pigment.
These were my top recommendations from Rodial Skincare and I am so looking forward to trying more from this amazing brand! If you have any recommendations, let me know in the comments below.
Happy New Year!

5 January 2018 at 9:05 AMI’ve only tried a sample. Can’t remember what one it was but for the fill size cost over £100. I did think it was a little over priced for what it did though. However, I’d still like to try more.
