New Cid Cosmetics | Brand you should know about!!

I have had fabulous response on my Instagram whenever I shared photos of New Cid Cosmetics…and why not! The products from this brand really catch attention and are so beautiful. The brand has won multiple awards in Beauty Industry and is continuously mentioned by Caroline Hirons.

New Cid Cosmetics is a brain child of Kelly Colman and it was born out of a leading hair, makeover and photography salon. For over a decade Kelly listened to thousands of women coming through the salon sharing their make-up insights. These women felt that make-up shopping can be overwhelming with too many fashion led shades and complicated application tips. Today the brand is still shaped by working make-up artists who listen to what real women needs from their make-up. The brand’s tagline is ‘Your Makeup Identity’ it really is all about real women’s makeup identity.

Honestly, I am addicted to the luxury packaging and high quality products they offer. Let’s jump straight on to the products 🙂

• i-perfection Colour Adjust Foundation – Cappuccino | £31.50

 This foundation has a cocktail of skin nourishing antioxidant vitamins and their advanced foundation formula uses “light refraction” technology to blur the appearance of imperfections without the look and feel of a heavy coverage.

This foundation has a demi-matte finish (but with a slight glow) and feels really velvety on skin. The coverage is light to medium and looks really natural on skin. The foundation is perfect on all skin types except very dry ones but I feel dry skin types can also get away if they mix this foundation with a drop or two of their favourite face oil. The main reason I love this foundation is the finish and how it looks on my skin. I hate heavy coverage cake-y looking foundation. I just love the base that perfects my skin. This is an amazing foundation I must say.

I feel finding a perfect shade can be a problem online but their makeup artist is really great to help out getting you shade matched based on your other closest match foundations. Just email them if you are not sure about your right shade. Even if you get a shade which is not an exact match but is still close to your actual skin tone, this colour adjusting foundation will adapt and adjusts to your skin colour. That’s what happened to me everytime I applied this. Genius..right?

• i-conceal Brush on Fluid Concealer – Medium | £21

This multitasking formulation addresses blemishes, under-eye shadows and discoloration. Enriched in moisture boosting Jojoba oil, it gives the appearance of a youthful glow. i-conceal also contains Vitamin A, which helps to stimulate cell production, skin elasticity and boosts collagen production. The pen-style brush applicator allows for precision and ease of application.

The applicator is twist brush style which is easy to apply. The concealer is long lasting and has good coverage. The shade medium has pink undertones which is perfect as a corrector and concealer in one if you have discolorations. I might need a lighter shade as well for brightening effect.

• i-glow Compact shimmer blush – Coral Crush | £27.50

This is the blush that I have tried in mini version upon recommendations of one of my friends. I am so glad that New Cid Cosmetics kindly sent me the full size as I love this so much and really wanted to own a full size. This is a gorgeous baked blusher with beautiful marble finish. This is a luminuous peachy coral blush with golden undertones that looks amazing on all skintones. This powder can be used as blusher and highlighter in one and gives a beautiful blushing glow ‘a lit from within look’.

The compacts come in sturdy travel friendly casing with a good size high quality mirror.

These compact powders are also recommended by Caroline Hirons (She mentioned multiple times about this blush as this makes her skin look alive) and are also featured in The Telegraph (that says it all).

• i-glow Compact Shimmer – Sirocco | £27.50

Sirocco is a multi-tasking highlighting powder with soft golden pigments for all skin tones. The name says its a shimmer powder and it does look quite shimmery and overwhelming in the pan but transfers so beautifully on skin. Not at all shimmery. It gives an amazing glow..perfect for lit from within glow. You need to try this and I am sure you’ll love it!

• i-Bronze Compact Powder Bronzer – Rio | £27.50

This luxurious silky bronzer is developed with our special baked pigments which help the product to blend evenly. At first I thought it might look little ashy due to baby pink going through but when I swirl my brush over the pan, it gives a beautiful bronze/tan. This bronzer gives my skin enough colour and makes it look sun-kissed.

The unique bronzer has swirls of bronze, golds, pinks and chocolate browns to give the perfect colour for practically all skin tones from light to medium dark.

• i-gel Long wear gel eye liner trio with brush | £24.50

We all know gel liners dry up so quickly. The idea of 3 shades in 1 is so clever. I absolutely love coloured liners and being able to try three complementary shades in one trio is amazing. This allows me to experiment with my looks and also is value for money.

These eyeliners are waterproof, smudge proof and fool proof that give definition to the eyes quickly and easily in a range of beautiful shades. These are great for use along the lash line and inside the waterline for extra glamour.

I got the shades Bronze/Copper/Stone as well as Emerald/Indigo/Midnight Blue. Both trios look amazing on my skintone. The shades are not too vibrant to look off on eyes. The Bronze/Copper/Stone is a perfect everyday shades while the Emerald/Indigo/Midnight blue is perfect for adding a little glam to your look without being too overpowering.

These liners were also winners of 2015 Anti Aging Beauty Bible and CEW UK Beauty Insiders Choice 2010 Finalist.

• i-groom Eyebrow pencil – Limited Edition | £20.50

This limited edition eyebrow pencil has an angular waxy tip ideal for all shapes of brow and a built-in eyebrow brush to groom brow hairs into place. These pencils are available in three universally flattering shades to make brow perfection even faster.

The waxy tip is perfect to get even and soft coverage which makes my brows look fabulous. My brows look naturally full with these and doesn’t look made up which is so important for me (I hate too strong brows). These brow pencils were featured in The Sunday Times Style Magazine.

• i-pout lipstick – Pure coral | £19

These lipsticks contain Hyaluronic acid which is essentially moisture magnet that keeps lips hydrated and comfortable all day. These lipsticks give demi-matte finish and are really pigmented to give even coverage to lips. These lipsticks come in a chrome case with light up feature and builtin mirror.

The shade Pure coral is a vibrant coral that looks absolutely stunning during spring and summer. This shade lifts up the whole look and gives holiday vibes.

• i-slick Metallic Lip Lacquer – Velvet | £18.50

This metallic lip lacquer comes with an innovative silicone applicator that delivers a rich, long-lasting high gloss formula to the lips without feathering. This is available in variety of shades from nudes to wine shades that will suit all skin tones. This lip lacquers can be either worn alone or on top of lipsticks.

• i-gloss light up lip gloss with mirror – Spice Berry | £19

OMG this is perfection! Everyone talks about this multi award winning hero i-gloss that provides an instant, comfortable, high shine colour.  These are available in a wide range of beautiful wearable shades with a mixture of sheer and opaque intensities. i-gloss comes in signature mirrored light up case which is perfect if you’re on-the go. This is my favourite lip product and I see myself carrying this everywhere.

These lip glosses are enriched with vitamin E to nourish and protect lips. This gel based formulation gives a lightweight, cushioning effect on the lips that has incredible staying power without feeling sticky.

The shade spice berry is a gorgeous deep peachy brown that looks fabulous on most skin tones. I will be getting more shades in this. This is just PERFECT.
