Pur~lisse Blue Lotus Range

Asian skincare is known for delivering results and has powerful impact in the skincare industry. I have been testing some of the products from Pur~lisse which is a brand that delivers beauty through Asian wisdom. Pur~lisse stands for pure and smooth in French. It’s a culmination of Asian wisdom & Modern beauty philosophy.

Pur~lisse was founded by Hollywood Actress Jennifer Yen when her skin was wrecked by wearing layers of heavy makeup for shows. She developed rosacea, psoriasis, adult acne, hives and more. She then developed effective skincare that works even on most sensitive and problematic skin with the help of her Grandmother’s beauty wisdom and French skin technology.

Pur~lisse products protects against aging and delivers healthy, glowing skin without harsh ingredients such as parabens, petrochemicals, synthetic color/fragrance, GMOs, sulfates and phthalates.

• Blue lotus 4-in-1 Cleansing Milk* | $36

This cleanser gently cleanses skin, removes makeup, tones & soothes the skin. This is free from sulphates. This cleanser smells like aquatic plantation but not overpowering. Its a very pure and fresh smell. This cleansing milk can be used as a first step in your double cleansing routing so it can melt all your makeup gently or as a double cleanser itself if you use it twice. I often like to use it as a morning cleanser as well. This leaves my skin soft and hydrated and doesn’t strip off natural oils of skin which is a plus for me because I have combination to dry skin.

How to use:

When I am not wearing makeup, I use this on damp skin and rinse lightly with warm water. However when I am wearing makeup, I massage my skin with this cleansing milk and it gently melts all the makeup. I then wipe it off with warm wet flannel and rinse with cold water.

My husband has very dry skin and often gets dry patches. I gave him this cleanser to try and oh my gosh I saw visible difference in his skin. His skin feels so soft after using this. He thinks he doesn’t need to apply a moisturizer after using this cleanser. That says a volume! This is our holy grail cleanser now.

This is the first sheet Mask that actually fits my face so well. I know that may not be a big deal for some of you but I don’t like huge sheet masks with serum dripping all over my neck and even getting into my hair/ roots. I don’t have very big face so a sheet masks that fits my face well gets an extra point.

This moisturizer has a very unique consistency. This feels like a gel-cream kind of product. This glides like a gel and smoothes out skin and hydrates like a cream. This has anti-ageing properties that prevents fine lines and wrinkles. This moisturiser provides a very healthy, supple and soft skin. This gets absorbed quickly into skin without leaving any residue. This can be worn under makeup so definitely extra point.

My skin looks well hydrated and plump after using this moisturizer. A little goes a long way and this moisturizer sinks in quickly without leaving any residue. This can be used day or night that makes it multi-purpose. This is slightly expensive but definitely worth every single penny. I love to apply this under makeup as well.

• Daily lip nourisher with Mango & Shea Butter* | $16

This is a great moisturizer for lips. This goes on smooth and treats my lips. This is not waxy at all and is not sticky as well. My lips feel velvety smooth after using this. I use it before applying lipstick as well as during night. This is a fabulous product and I love using this every single day.
