Hello my loves,
Hope you’re well.
Just a really quick one, my sister gave me a herbal lipstick from a brand Soul tree. She got it in the Fab bag I think and the colour looked too deep in the bullet so she handed it to me. First of all, the packaging and the fragrance was really nice. It came in a pink card box and the bullet is matte silver polished plastic. The colour name is Deep blush but its more like a deep orange or rusty colour. I fell in love with the shade, you will know why when you see the swatch. This has herbal ingredients so if you are a person who stays away from lipsticks due to its ingredients, its totally safe for you.
This is really pigmented and applies smoothly to give a matte finish. However, if you eat or drink something with this lipstick on your lips, then it cracks really badly. Looks awful and you will have to remove it immediately. I am not a kind of person who touches up makeup frequently and this lipstick is very very high maintenance. So definitely the formula is not for me! As you can see in the swatches, the colour is vibrant and looks so good in camera, I might keep it for selfies or videos but cannot wear this outside.
Price: INR 450 which is equivalent to almost £4-4.50
Pros

Vibrant colour
Great pigmentation
Affordable
Cons
Wears off when you eat/drink and becomes patchy
Have you tried any herbal lipstick before? How was your experience? Let me know in the comments below. Have a great week 🙂
Love you loads, Akanksha (Ash) ♥♥♥

1 March 2016 at 1:24 AMYay I finally got to know Ms.Tantrum’s real name! I think I’m visiting your blog for the first time. :# This shade looks nice, sad to know about its staying power. It won’t last on my lips for long because I’m eating most of the times. 😛

2 March 2016 at 12:31 AMThanks Dipti <3 yes, the shade is actually stunning and looks so good with Indian outfits as well as if you want to rock orangey reds. This was my first Orange red lipstick and i wish the lasting power was better. I can't do touchups often 🙂
