Hello Lovelies, I love watching Youtube videos about Top 10 under 10 or Top 5 under 5 series so I thought I would share my top 10 products which are under £10. It is also a great opportunity to share my top drugstore faves too. I have picked products that are easily available in the UK so there is no hidden customs or international postage charges. Without blabbering much, let’s move on to my superstars without any order!
The Radiant Lights Radiance palette from Makeup Revolution is a fantastic dupe for Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette. This palette was also featured on my Pocket Friendly highlighters post. The packaging is sturdy and it comes with a full size mirror so its idle for travelling. The highlighter pans are good size so I believe it will last you a long time.
There are 3 beautiful shades in this palette. The left most shade is called Breathe which is a beige toned highlighter that looks beautiful on all skin tones. The middle shade is called Exhale which is a beautiful cream shade highlight and the third shade is called Glow which is a golden tone highlighter. These highlighters are infact illuminators as these are very finely milled and when applied these give a beautiful radiance and glow to the skin. If you haven’t tried this palette, seriously you need to try. This is definitely one of my favorite Makeup Revolution purchase.
I reviewed this palette when it was a new launch and I got my hands on it the very first day of its release on Tam Beauty/Makeup Revolution’s website. This certainly is one of my most viewed posts till date. This highlighter is a collaboration with Jane Cunningham aka British Beauty Blogger. She did a great job by making a palette that covers variety of textures and finishes and also 30 beautiful shades from nudes to smokey and golds. There’s definitely something for everyone.
The packaging is different from usual Makeup Revolution black palettes. Its in Gold matte finish plastic with a logo and comes with a dual sided brush and a full size mirror. The eyeshadow pans are smaller than usual pans from other palettes but they are nicely pigmented and are easy to blend. The palette is one of my most loved palettes and is definitely a value for money.
- Sleek Blush – Coral | £4.99
Sleek blushes are one of the most pigmented blushes available from drugstore. Most of the shades are dupes for Nars blushes. The texture is soft and the pan size is good. These blushes are so much easier to blend than other drugstore blushes. The quality is amazing and these are most talked about blushes from Highstreet/ Drugstore. I featured some of the sleek blushes in my You make me blush!!! post. The shade Coral is my most used Sleek blush. Its a soft peachy toned blush that looks amazing on all skin tones and in any time of the year really. This blush goes works well with most makeup looks and stays on skin for long time.
Maybelline color tattoo is a 24 hour cream gel formula eyeshadows that do not crease and stays put for long hours. The shade On & On Bronze is a beautiful metallic bronze shade and can be worn individually for a minimalist look or topped with a powder eyeshadow to make it pop. This is the only metallic eyeshadow I own from this brand and I absolutely love it. This eyeshadow was also featured on my Summer Makeup Edit 🙂
If you’re looking for a good quality, highly pigmented gold highlighter on a budget, you are going to love this.I talked about this eyeshadow as a highlighter in my Pocket Friendly highlighters post. These eyeshadows were launched at a price of around £17-£18 in the UK but were reduced to £8.90 last year. The shade 208 Light Gold is a perfect dupe for MAC Shaft of Gold (Limited Edition) highlighter. This shade is always out of stock online or in most stores but If you see this, don’t forget to grab immediately as this is one of the best sellers from KIKO Milano brand. The shade is so stunning and is incredibly beautiful on the skin. This is a must have for medium to dark skin tones. The swatch below speaks it all 🙂
GC describes this as a nourishing liquid lip stain that applies smoothly and dries to a long-lasting matte finish. It is quite comfortable on my lips and stays put all day. The shade Everything nice is such a pretty terracotta/mocha brown shade on my lips that looks flattering and I get compliments whenever I wear this. This is a rose-tinted pale mocha with nude undertones. It’s peachy brown with a slight hint of rusty red, the perfect shade I like for my lips tbh! Price point wise it is quite affordable. The formula is very light, long lasting, anti-flaking and non drying. It is one of those lipsticks that you put on your lips and forget about it. Once set, it will not budge even with drinking and eating. I talked about this lipstick in my Liquid Lipsticks | 3 new additions post a while ago. If you follow me on my Instagram (here), you’d know this is my most used liquid lipstick till date.
This highlighter comes in a tiny frosty glass pot. The formula is like a creamy mousse which is very easy to apply and blends like a dream. The best way to apply this highlighter is with your fingers as there is more control over product. This is in shade Gleam which looks like a bronze shade in the pot but comes as a Champagne / opal color on the skin. I also featured this highlighter in my Pocket Friendly highlighters post.
- Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream – Cannes | £5.50 | Post here
The velvety smooth lip creams dries to a creamy matte lipstick and is very durable. The shades are very pigmented and there are a variety of shades to choose from. I shared my thoughts on Nyx liquid lipsticks in my Lingerie, Suede or Soft Matte post.
The shade Cannes is a beautiful pink and can be worn alone or over a lipstick. I like to wear it sometimes over Mac Velvet Teddy or sometimes just on its own. Either ways it gives a beautiful colour on my lips. It stays on for quite a few hours and is extremely comfortable on the lips. Formula wise, I prefer soft matte lipsticks over Suede and Lingerie.
This concealer is a holy grail for so many of us. It stays put for a long time and does not crease on my skin. The shade ‘Nude’ works perfectly as a highlight shade for my skin tone. The formula is very creamy and is easy to blend. Some people may not like the sponge applicator due to the hygiene factor but I do not share my makeup tools or anything like makeup applicators so I do not mind a sponge applicator. Also, I never keep my makeup open for long duration to catch any dust. This concealer instantly erases dark circles and claims to blur the fine lines. I do not see much difference with fine lines however, the dark circles are not visible if applied over orange corrector. Its a winner in Drugstore concealers. So, do check this out if you haven’t already.
A good size single eyeshadow for £1….How cool is that? Let me tell you its very pigmented and easy to blend as well. Yes, you read it right! The shade ‘Delicious’ is a grey/cool toned brown which works perfectly as a contour shade for my medium skin tone. If you prefer cream contour then setting your contour base with this powder eyeshadow would make it last longer.
These were my top 10 picks under £10. I hope you liked these. Is any of the above your one of the top drugstore pick too? Let me know your feedback in the comments section below 🙂
Until next time…
Loads of love
