Hello Lovelies, If you have been following me on my Instagram (here), you must be bored of seeing the Super Facialist cleansing oils on my page. But trust me, I am not bored of using them. These are such a treat to your skin. Considering I have tested these out on my sensitive skin enough, I am ready to talk about these – if they worked for my combination sensitive skin, how these are different from each other and what i like or hate about them.
First of all if you are not aware, Una Brennan is one of the most accomplished facialists and skincare specialists in the UK. With more than 15 years experience, she is recognised in the beauty world as one of London’s best kept secrets. She has a true passion for skin health and an in depth knowledge of ingredients and their benefits.
Super Facialist Vitamin C+ Skin Renew Cleansing Oil | £10.99 for 200ml
This cleansing oil is just so fresh and takes you to spring & summer as soon as you open this bottle. The smell is citrus-y and very fresh. The oil has luxurious feel to it and when you apply this, you will be taken to another world really (as if you are in a spa, haha ).
As per the website, Infused with Vitamin C and nourishing Olive, Grapeseed and Rosehip oils, this highly soluble oil transforms itself, upon contact with water, into a light milky texture. Boosted with Rosemary oil, Vitamin E and soothing Cucumber oil it gently dissolves face and eye make-up and removes daily impurities.
I use this as a makeup remover as it melts the makeup easily in seconds after rubbing onto face. I remove the oil with a wet warm flannel and then use any cleanser to remove any traces of oil. I do not have to use micellar water over this oil as it does the job perfectly. However, on days my skin is slightly more sensitive, I avoid using this oil. This can make sensitive skin look flushed due to high content of Vitamin C.
This oil comes in a good size plastic bottle with a normal lid like you get in shampoos and most conditioners. Oil may leak if the bottle is kept horizontally so I suggest transferring some oil to sturdy plastic bottles with tight lid for travelling.
Ingredients
Helianthus annuus (Sunflower) seed oil, Olea europaea (Olive) fruit oil, Vitis vinifera (Grape) seed oil, Laureth-4, PEG-7 glyceryl cocoate, Rubus idaeus (Raspberry) seed oil, Parfum (Fragrance), Citrus aurantium dulcis (Sweet orange) peel oil, Passiflora edulis (Passionflower) seed oil, Rosa eglentaria (Rosehip) seed oil, Ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate, Cucumis sativus (Cucumber) seed oil, Tocopheryl acetate, Citral, Butylphenyl methylpropional, Limonene.
- Used as a daily cleansing oil/ makeup remover
- Light texture
- Luxurious feeling & Citrus-like smell
- Infused with Vitamin C and nourishing Olive, Grapeseed and Rosehip oils

- May not be suitable for highly sensitive skin that is allergic to Vitamin C products. So I recommend doing a patch test first.
Rating: 4/5 Definitely re-purchase
- Super Facialist Rose Miracle Makeover Facial Oil |£14.99 for 30ml
This offering from Super Facialist brand is slightly expensive. This comes in a tiny glass bottle with a pump. The bottle looks very luxurious and high-end.
This is a nourishing pre-cleanse facial oil formulated with Avocado and Carrot oils, both rich in vitamins, and hydrating Raspberry oil, known for its high Omega 3 & 6 essential fatty acids content. This also contains a soothing brown algae derived active and calming Calendula oil which makes it suitable for most sensitive skins and leave skin feeling cleansed and recharged. This oil is meant to regenerate cells naturally which helps in healthy, young and beautiful looking skin.
When I first bought this oil, i thought this is a treatment oil and is meant to be applied as a facial oil after cleansing (Sorry, that’s just because of the looks of the bottle). However, I wasn’t completely wrong. Due to its amazing ingredients, this oil can be used as an intensive moisturizing treatment or can be mixed with daily moisturizer.
The oil has a beautiful aroma of roses and trust me the smell is very indulging and is not grandma types (if you know what i mean). The texture of oil is very thick and you need to take generous amount on to your palms and rub hands together to warm the oil a bit and then massage onto your face in circular motions. The oil will dissolve any impurities and you can then wipe clean using soft flannel dampened with warm water to remove traces of oil. I like to continue my usual cleansing routine after using this oil to remove all traces of oil from my skin.

9 September 2016 at 12:46 PMI’m really loving the Cleansing Oil as well, it’s lush! The pre-cleanse oil sounds beautiful but not sure if I’ll spend this amount of money on 30ml cleansing oil.
I’ve only just started exploring the brand but have so many things on my wish list 🙂 x

17 September 2016 at 11:21 PMI agree about it being so expensive specially for a 30ml. Its not highly luxurious brand either but once you try it, you may change your mind as it does smell and feel luxurious Dagmara 🙂

17 September 2016 at 11:28 PMYes Karishma, these are great and expensive but Boots usually have buy one get 2nd half price or 1/3 off rrp or 2 for 2 offers on these brands and I definitely recommend picking these up while on offer.

12 September 2016 at 10:05 PMI actually hadn’t heard of her, so thanks for sharing a little bio on her too that was really helpful. This sounds like just what I need, my skin has been so dry so extra moisturising and nourishing products are exactly what I need. I would have thought it was a treatment oil too! I will pick this up next time I am in Boots, excited to try it and I don’t have sensitive skin so it should be fine on me. Great, in-depth review, Ash and gorgeous pics too xxx

19 October 2016 at 9:20 AMYou can almost guarantee that there’ll still be a bit of makeup that creeps its way onto the flannel – if you’ve a face full of heavy foundation then it’s unlikely that you’ll get it all off in one hit.More at https://bellaterraoils.com/product/vitamin-e-oil/
