Under the Sea Box by GlossyBox

This month Glossy Box came with Under the Sea theme and brought some tropical and mermaid inspired products. There are 5 beach-ready beauty essentials in every box plus a 6th one as a little treat.

Oh in case you do not know about Glossybox, it is a £10 monthly subscription service with which you get 5 or 6 different beauty products nicely wrapped in a beautiful box at your doorstep each month.

Who doesn’t like bronzed skin, mermaid waves but with the ease? Glossybox Holiday inspired Under the Sea box comes with some holiday essentials that will take you from beach to bar in style. The box is filled with beach babe essentials from an ocean infused wave creator for your hair to a shimmering makeup brush. It also includes saviour for teeth, along with an extra treat to protect skin.

• Senhor Do Bonfim Sea Water Hair Spray | £16 (50 ml)

Sun, Sand and sea salt hair spray – this will help you to achieve the perfect beachy mermaid waves. It’s the perfect heat free curl enhancer for the effortless, windswept ‘I’ve not even tried’ look. All you have to do is shake it well and spray onto damp hair, twisting some strands to create more texture. You may also spray it onto dry hair to reactivate waves and add beachy texture.

• Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Hand Therapy | £8 (25 gms)

I am an old fan of Crabtree & Evelyn hand cream and they are essential in my handbag so I was super excited to see one of their hand creams in Glossybox Under the Sea Box. If you have overworked hands, you can nourish them with this rich moisturising hand cream. This hand cream smells so good and is a treat for both skin and senses. It is formulated with a marine blend of antioxidant-rich seaweed extracts and red sea algae. The hydrating power of hyaluronic acid also improves your skin’s natural moisture barrier.

• Oriflame The One 5-in-1 Wonder Lash Mascara | £9 (8 ml)

The 5-in-1 mascara from Oriflame lets you to leave your eyelash curlers at home because it lifts, curls, volumises, lengthens and separates. The double-sided brush is for lifting and sculpting lashes with the short bristles; and lengthen and define them with long bristles. Make sure to apply sun lotion atleast 20 minutes before going in the sun and reapply frequently.

Though I feel if Glossybox had included a shimmering oil or bronzer in the box, that would have been amazing but seeing the cost of the box, it is still a very good value.
