Hey Loves,
Hope you’re well.
This is the first time I am trying Glossybox after hearing a lot about it. For those who don’t know, this is a £10 monthly subscription service with which you get 5 or 6 different beauty products nicely wrapped in a beautiful box at your doorstep each month.
After indulging in lot of food, sweets and drinks over Christmas and New Year, this month we’re hitting the reset button and putting self-care at top of our priority list. This month’s glossybox contains 5 gorgeous treats to help you do the self-care with sumptuous skincare to handpicked organic makeup that will heal and enhance your skin.
So let’s dig into it 🙂
- Boots Beauty Beneath Supplements | RRP £39.99
While serums and moisturizers are vital for great skin, they can only penetrate so far. This is why its a great idea to boost your efforts with a nutrient-rich supplement. These nutrients work to boost your own collagen production, fading fine lines and wrinkles while leaving your skin softer than ever!
The rrp of these capsules is just under 40 quid which is 4 times the price of whole box (no-brainer)! However if you’re a vegetarian, this may not be for you. The ingredient list says it has beef gelatin (FYI). I have seen some people consider non-vegetarian ingredients in a medicine/capsule form so if that works for you, you can give this a try!
- Evelyn Iona Cosmetics Green Tea Primer | RRP £22
A good primer is essential for flawless, long-lasting makeup, which is why we are so smitten with this one. This primer is packed with ingredients like avocado oil and green tea extract that help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and pores along with keeping your makeup stay for longer.
I am excited to try this out. This is cruelty-free and free from any nasties like parabens.
- Dr. Botanicals Moroccan Rose and Superfood Facial Oil Travel Size | RRP £55 for full size
This gorgeous facial oil is packed full of skin enriching minerals and vitamins which all work together to rejuvenate, renew and protect your complexion. Moroccan rose is a potent source of Vitamin A and C, plus antioxidants essential for protecting against free radicals.
I have been seeing this brand a lot lately on Instagram so wanted to give it a try. I am so glad I received this oil in this month’s box. Definitely extra points from my side!
- Nail Medic Nail and Cuticle Energizer | RRP £5.99
If your nails are in need of some serious TLC, this reparative oil is just what you need. A delicious blend of vitamins, plant extracts, revitalising eucalyptus and soothing lavender, it gets to work on the brittle nails, split cuticles and dry skin.
Last year I started using nail care products and I agree they make such a difference in overall health of your nails and cuticles. I am excited to try this. This one looks and smells nice too.
- Apicia Cream Blush | RRP £22
If you’re new to cream blush, this couldn’t be a better introduction. This blush is rich in organic bee pollen to nourish skin. This is a deep honey pink that suits all skin tones. For a subtle finish, dab it slowly and blend in, building up colour as per your preference.
As I am into my 30s now, I prefer formulas that sit nicely on my skin and enhance it rather than focusing on flaws. This does a great job!
So, that’s my very first box from Glossybox and now you know all about what’s there in this month’s box. This is packed with natural products to help you make your skin, nails and hair look better and repair your skin after last month’s partying.
You may buy this box for £10 + P&P by signing up for monthly subscription or 3, 6 or 12 month plans here.
Until next time..
